There are plenty of stingrays hanging out right at the edge of the water.

Kayak Heaven

We spent much of today kayaking. We saw schools of fish jumping in unison, flying fish, and some huge fish that looked like white stingrays come flying high and hitting the water with a big splash. Some manatees poked their heads up around us too.

Dolphins

There seem to be plenty of dolphins around, just not when I have a camera. They passed by us at our hotel on the weekend, then three different groups on our boat trip to our island Sunday afternoon, and today we watched them jumping high while we sat one the beach at sunset.

Views from our room

We're at Sanibel Harbour Resort for 3 nights for the Family Life Marriage Conference. We're looking out towards Sanibel Island. Tomorrow we take a boat to get to North Captiva Island for the week.

Sleepy at Sanibel

3 hr 56 min flight to Toronto
4 hr wait at Pearson
2 hr 20 min flight to Orlando
4 hr drive to Fort Myers
No sleep.
But it's hot and sunny at Sanibel Harbour Resort, with a cool breeze off the Gulf of Mexico. Well worth the travel!
